History

For over 20 years, Robert Vermeltfoort has designed numerous shopping/retail centers, office complexes, apartment complexes, and industrial developments throughout California for a diverse group of clients. Recently, he has completed the design and the construction documents for Pelco's Building 7 in Clovis, the Mid-State 99 Distribution Center in Visalia, the new corporate headquarters & manufacturing building for Betts Spring Company in Fresno, a distribution center addition for Patterson Dental in Dinuba, the Time Warner Building located in Bakersfield, and the Charles Building in Fresno, along with numerous other projects.

VAI's experience extends from new developments to rehabilitation projects, varying from multi-story & small office buildings, shopping centers, supermarkets, and tenant improvements. Project highlights include: Longs Drugs, Charles Partnering Building, Wendy's restaurants, Save Mart Supermarkets, Re/Max, and Fresh & Easy markets.

Robert has experience in large and small multi-family projects, including multi-level complexes. Project highlights include: the Palisades Apt. Complex in Clovis, the Hilltop Commons in Berkeley, the Maroa Park Apartments in Fresno, Bridgeview Apartments in Madera, and various other small complexes.

Robert has extensive knowledge in the design of multi-use religious facilities which include sanctuaries, classrooms, and offices. Project highlights include: Northside Christian Church in Fresno, and Lifeway Baptist Church in Fresno.

Robert has worked on more than twenty concrete tilt-up industrial buildings, along with numerous concrete masonry and pre-fabricated metal buildings. Project highlights include: Pelco Building 7, Time Warner Cable Building, Fiesta Food Distribution Center, Midstate 99 Distribution Center, Patterson Dental, and Betts Spring Company.
